Jackie's musings

Welcome to my blog, a space where I will share upcoming releases, exciting news or the odd ramblings of life.

Creative Collaborations

I had a very short but exciting meeting yesterday. When two busy brains came together to collaborate. The wonderful music therapist Emily Whitewick and I sat over a short lunch to see how we can work together. I do not like using a.i. I want to work with real musicians and vocalists, but what a.i has shown me is that MY lyrics written by ME can be turned into songs. This has given me the confidence to share the lyrics with other talented people who have different but complimentary skills. Skills I sense will dovetail to create meaningful creations that people can relate to. So Emily is now away with a few of my lyrics looking for what she can relate to and bring to life. To say I’m excited is an understatement. Emily has the most wonderful voice, but so much more than that. She senses what people need, meets them where they are and reads those who don’t have the words. Her voice drifts around the space and fills up those who need to hear, she connects, and it is a privilege to be part of that.

Healing and self-care journey

I believe in the power of music to heal and inspire. In this section, I'll be sharing my personal journey of healing and self-care, including the practices and experiences that help me stay grounded and creative. Join me as I explore ways to nurture the mind, body, and soul.

Wild swimming is one of the best things I do for myself, meeting with friends and feeling the cold water against my skin, washes everything else away.

Breathwork is another powerful tool I have in my bag. The wonderful space created by John Paul Mason at Breathing Journeys has given me the skills to connect with myself and nature and allows my body to release feelings I never knew it held.

Features and appearances

I'm excited to share any upcoming features, appearances, and collaborations. Check back here for updates on where you can find me performing, speaking, or contributing to other creative projects. I look forward to connecting with you at these events!

2026 will start with my track call the wild geese being aired on the women of substance podcast.
