Creative Collaborations

I had a very short but exciting meeting yesterday. When two busy brains came together to collaborate. The wonderful music therapist Emily Whitewick and I sat over a short lunch to see how we can work together. I do not like using a.i. I want to work with real musicians and vocalists, but what a.i has shown me is that MY lyrics written by ME can be turned into songs. This has given me the confidence to share the lyrics with other talented people who have different but complimentary skills. Skills I sense will dovetail to create meaningful creations that people can relate to. So Emily is now away with a few of my lyrics looking for what she can relate to and bring to life. To say I’m excited is an understatement. Emily has the most wonderful voice, but so much more than that. She senses what people need, meets them where they are and reads those who don’t have the words. Her voice drifts around the space and fills up those who need to hear, she connects, and it is a privilege to be part of that.
